All employees are required to wear masks. The governor has suggested that customer do the same and we agree (at least for the moment) this is a good idea. The state has provided us with lots of free disposable masks that we can give you if you don’t have one.
Unable to find traditional wipes for the moment so will have hand sanitizer and some wipe substitutes. Will even have disposable gloves if you want them.
As many of you know we are a low customer volume specialty business so you should have no concerns at staying 6 ft from other customers. Salespeople will arrange early morning and early evening appointments for those that would prefer them.
We have been staying on top of this while we were closed if you order came in you have been notified. We will be requesting updates from builders in the next two weeks and will contact everyone and advise of new expected arrival dates on their orders. If you have not been contacted then your order is not in. You can assume most orders have been delayed by the number of weeks builders were closed which in most cases was 6-7 weeks.
In the interest of health and in keeping with the governor’s request we will bring your furniture to the end of the dock. We will not be available for wrapping or loading so please bring moving supplies and appropriate help for you to accomplish this. Our help is just to the end of the dock.
Until this whole COVID19 becomes a bit less of an issue we will not be loaning wrap or blankets out and can only offer limited loading help on the dock.
Many of you have been notified your furniture is here and have asked us hold it until we reopen as you would prefer inside deliveries. The delivery guys will be reviewing and starting to set up deliveries later in the week of May 12th after opening. Deliveries will be set up with economic delivery routes and priority will be put on orders that have been here the longest. We ask you to please work with the schedule as unable to accomodate special dates or times on deliveries until we plow through the backload of order waiting for delivery.
Yes….whole thing sounds kind of “weird” but this is the way people are doing things at the moment. Should work fine ….just might require a bit of patience as of course this is all new to us too.
